So let's be upfront, I'm a mid 40's engineer with a love of autistic type activities. Sorting, patterns, playing the long game when others get bored, and all manner of making and fixing that require lots of patience. Before "the philosophy of jigsaws" below, worth noting the quality of the product. I've got big thick man hands and didn't manage to damage the 1000 pieces, but had to be delicate when separating pieces. Pretty happy with the quality but I'm not an expert. The piece shape are unique enough that you really know when you have a the right piece. However jigsaws have always been in the category of "old folk toffee munching" activity. But after a couple of beers one evening this came up as a recommendation and my tipsy brain thought "what a great lockdown project". Silly boy! Oh, and might be a tricky one for those who are colour blind.

The first puzzle I've done since 1997! I had the "idea" to look for a puzzle way too late. Apparently everyone else had the same idea during lockdown so my options we're super limited. It was ridiculously fun. I've ordered more and am waiting impatiently for them. I'm officially hooked!

The jigsaw was interesting however I have a board that takes up to 1500 pieces but the jigsaw was still too big to fit it. Consequently I could not finish it. I need a bigger board

This one was a blast! I decided to sort by the letter system on the back of the pieces. I thought it would feel like cheating, but that wasn’t the case. It was super easy piecing together without referring to the box. And my husband was able to join me as we each worked on separate sections without running into one another. This would be a great date night puzzle!
