This is a great jigsaw. Suitably difficult with unusually shaped pieces, a brilliant picture and very engaging. Even my teenage niece found herself absorbed by it (rather than her phone!).

I’ve never been much of a jigsaw fan until recently but this one has got me hooked, it is wonderful. I’m loving it so much I have to force myself away to get other stuff done – completely addicted. Why is it so good? 1) the stunning art used – a fab way to get to know your favourite paintings (2) the wonderful sharp quality and actual size of the reproduction of the artwork actual size (3) I love the funky and precisely cut pieces - so weird and wonderfully shaped, I’m completely hooked.

Great puzzle in every way. Beautiful and colourful, and a chance to study Frida Kahlo's painting style up close and at length. The pieces all have unique shapes, unlike some modern puzzles where the shapes are very similar and it's hard to tell if two pieces go together or not. The pieces are also very solid. I finished without a single piece starting to peel or break up, and when they fit, they snap together with a nice solid "click".

I am used to completing puzzles with a few hundred pieces, I convinced myself to buy this 1000 piece both because it depicts one of the most beautiful paintings in existence, and because from the other reviews I had noticed the particular cut of the pieces. I finished in just one week (in my spare time). I was very intrigued by sorting pieces of a thousand shapes. For those who like me who love to solve puzzles will have a lot of fun. Good and resistant quality, very precise colours. I definitely recommend.

This particular puzzle had unusual shaped puzzle pieces some were as small as a finger nail, and some sides didn't have an interlocking connections, just an edge that was slightly curved. This made identifying the edge pieces a nightmare. It also did not come with an accompanying image - so you had to use the lid of the box to cross reference. And part of the image was obscured, so at the bottom corner you were flying blind. The puzzle itself was good quality. I would say this is for someone who is a next level puzzle player who wants to be really challenged, not for your normal puzzler.

I purchased this puzzle for my daughter and granddaughter to work on together. Eventually, five people worked on putting it together. The family used various puzzle solving strategies and group effort to complete it, but not without frustration. In conclusion, this is a great challenging jigsaw, very unusual shaped pieces, difficult in the large coloured areas but worth it. We will definitely frame it.

This is a well crafted jigsaw puzzle, but it isn’t for the faint hearted. The lower 1/4 should not be underestimated, and the white and black areas will truly drive you crazy. It might even top my list of most challenging puzzles I’ve put together! I love how the high resolution allows you see individual paint strokes. For those who paint or draw, this provides a fascinating look into how Frida Kahlo painted this piece.

Frida to scale. This was one of the most challenging puzzles I have ever done. There are irregular pieces and several black areas of the puzzle with very few colour cues. It kept me busy through some of the lockdown.
