The release of The Crown Season 5 is just around the corner. The new series is going to see a variety of new faces enter the fray, with Imelda Staunton taking over from Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II.
In addition to the introduction of several new cast members, the new series of the hit Netflix period drama will have a time jump, as audiences are transported to the early 1990s in Buckingham Palace.
The Crown fans won’t need to wait long for the next series to be released.
The eagerly-anticipated fifth series is set to drop on Netflix on November 9, 2022.
The whole series will be released at once, so you will be able to binge through all 10 episodes in one sitting if that’s your thing.
What to expect:
The voice (hesitant, breathy, the right side of posh), the dipped head as she looks up through her eyelashes, the haircut, the expressions and, of course, the clothes; it's all so Diana.
Elizabeth Debicki is perfect.
